Obituary of CHRISTINE IRENE PANAMICK

In Loving Memory CHRISTINE IRENE PANAMICK (ESHKIBOK) June 28, 1924 - February 7, 2014 Christine Panamick, a resident of M'Chigeeng First Nation, began her Spirit Journey on Thursday night at the Wikwemikong Nursing Home. She was born at Kaboni, daughter of the late Eliza Eshkibok. She had a variety of interests which included cooking, sewing, gardening, going to yard sales and bingos. With a large family, Christine did a lot of canning and preserves, which her family particularly loved her "mustard beans". Christine was predeceased by husband Jim Panamick (M'Chigeeng). Loving and loved mother of Isadore, wife Angeline (predeceased), Johnny, Vincent, Kate Roy (Clifford), Henry (Cathy), Hazel Recollet, Joe (Virgina), Eileen Simon, Jimmy (Anita) and Bernard. Proud grandmother of Harvey, Vivian (predeceased), Taylor, Caroline, Lisa, Francine, Vincent Jr., Beverly, Stephanie, Scott, Henry Jr., Tanya, Shawn, Tiffany, Charlene, Tony, Nicole, Peggy, Joy, Daniel (predeceased), Kevin and James and great grandchildren Dawn, Brigid, Colleen, Trina, Nicole, Jacqueline, Murray, Brett, Ricky, Grace, Jamie, Kyleigh, Saraya, Cohen, James, Maximus, Nathan, Asyia, Cassandra, Brian, Kaitlyn, Shawna, Scotty, Dustin, Valerie, Aiden, Nyron, Ellie, Johnny, Mavrick, Douglas, Nicolas, Dallas, Davin, and Noah and great great grandchildren Harmony, Hailey, Kaitlyn, Liam and Lexi. Dear sister of Ida Hare (predeceased) (M'Chigeeng), Lavina Cooper (predeceased), Theodore Fox (predeceased) (Wikwemikong). Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends may call at the M'Chigeeng Community Complex after 1 p.m. on Saturday. The funeral mass to celebrate Christine's life will be celebrated at Immaculate Conception Church, M'Chigeeng on Monday, February 10, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. Interment in M'Chigeeng Cemetery.
