Obituary of Violet Idella Wilson

WILSON - Violet of Gore Bay passed away peacefully with family by her side on Tuesday September 22, 2015 in her 92nd year. Beloved mother of Perry (Patricia) of Ponoka, Alberta, Mark of Gore Bay, Brady (Theresa) of Guelph and Colleen Wilson (Grant Lanktree) of Fort McMurray, Alberta. Violet will be sadly missed by her 15 grand and 15 great grandchildren, as well as many many friends. Predeceased by her husband J.C., son Timothy, parents Estey and Florence (Peterson) McDowell, brother Bill McDowell and sister Evangeline Fisher. The funeral service for Violet will be held at the Lyon's Memorial United Church, Gore Bay on Saturday September 26, 2015 at 11 a.m. Interment Gordon Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Lyon's Memorial United Church or the Manitoulin Lodge Auxiliary as expressions of sympathy.
