Obituary of Michael Pearl"" Pearson

Stanley Michael "Pearl" Pearson passed away on Tuesday December 1, 2015 in his 59th year. Beloved husband of Jean and dear father of Kayla (Mitch) Graham, Kyler and special grampa of Aliya.Mike will be sadly missed by his siblings Osborne (Isabelle), Garnet (Chris), Jim, Keith, Larry (Lucy), Robert (Karen), Linda (Bruce) Witty, Carol and Sharon (Kevin Davis) as well as the mother of his 2 children Lisa Johnston, numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews who loved him dearly. Predeceased by his parents Stanley and Viola (Gilchrist). Mike worked at LaFarge for 25 years. He was respected by many people, especially his great friends Steve and Barb Middaugh, Dave Little and Meryl Idle. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, euchre, cribbage and especially poker with Merv Lewis, Mike Riching and Doug Graham. Mike was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch # 514 for 23 years. People respected and enjoyed Mike's genuine smile and acceptance of all. He always greeted you with a smile and had a heart of gold. His smile broadened at the sight or name of his granddaughter Aliya. Visitation will be held on Thursday December 3 from 7-9 pm at the SIMPSON FUNERAL HOME, where the funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 am. Cremation to follow. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy.
