Obituary of Marion Norma Turner
In thankful memory of Marion Norma Turner who died at Manitoulin Lodge on Wednesday, November 30th, 2016. Daughter of the late Kenneth and Maria (Learmont) Buchanan. Wife of Grant McArthur Turner, predeceased 1996. Survived by her children Holly (Warren) Oxner, Rae (Earl) Laidley, John (Heather) Turner and Heather Turner (Kevin Glasby).
Proud grandmother of Cameron Oxner, Nadine (Jeremy) Laidley-Kronick, Alex Laidley (Sara), Olivia Laidley (Sly), Grant Turner, Mackenzie Turner, Vanessa Glasby and John-McArthur Glasby. Great Grandmother to Amelia Kronick. Survived by her aunt, Janet (Learmont) Burke of Toronto, sisters Margaret Armstrong-Lane & Carmen Walker, brother Ken, sister-in-law Mina Turner, first cousins Jacqueline Gordon, Molly McQuarrie, Marianne Knight, Margaret Porter, and neighbour/friend/niece-in-law Barb Armstrong. Predeceased by brothers-in-law Archie Turner, Alvin Armstrong, Larry Lane, Herb Walker, and nephew Scott Armstrong.
Funeral service to be held at Lyon's Memorial United Church, Gore Bay on Monday, December 5th, 2016 at 11:00 am. Interment in Gordon Cemetery immediately thereafter. Fellowship at Robinson Hall to follow.
