Obituary of Neil Arthur Wright

WRIGHT - Neil Arthur (Sid), passed away peacefully with his family by his side at Mindemoya Hospital on Thursday August 3, 2017 in his 76th year. Beloved husband of Edna. Sid is survived by his step children Eric (Bev) Robbins, Mark (Sharon) Robbins, Kevin (Lisa) Robbins, Diane Robbins (Bob Stachon), grandchildren Ian, Matthew, Nathan, Shannon, Mikayla as well as many great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, brothers Harry (Velma), Alex (Nancy), sisters Maxine Brockelbank, Anne (Henry) Cranston, sisters-in-laws Edith (Elwood) Beange, Evelyn (Grant) Lewis and brother in law Raymond (Sandra) Runnalls. Predeceased by his parents Max and Mildred (Turner) Wright, brother in law Roy Brockelbank and brother Herb Wright. Sid worked at Algoma Steel, sailed the Great Lakes, then was a truck driver for McDougall Construction, but most of all he thoroughly enjoyed working in the bush and fishing. Cremation has taken place. Burial of cremated remains will be held at the Burpee Mills Cemetery at 12 noon on Saturday September 16, 2017, followed by a celebration of life at Barrie Island Hall from 2-4 pm.
