Sincere condolences to Jane and family. We were so very sorry to hear of Pete's passing. Although we haven't seen him for many years, we still kept in touch at Christmas time. He was a person who always brought a smile and a laugh to those around him. Rest in peace old friend.

So sorry to hear this sad news. I joined the military young at seventeen and Pete was essentially "Dad" to me in Alert and later Masset. Tolerated a lot from me and I enjoyed hearing numerous stories of his time onboard ship while he was cutting my hair. I've taken many examples of how he was with people to shape how I work with people myself. Pete was a wonderful man.

I will miss seeing Peter at the golf course. He was a gentle man, always with a good word when we met. He was also an avid community supper supporter. I could be sure to meet him and Jane at every Silverwater fish fry. Godspeed, Peter.

I had the pleasure of getting to Know Pete while exchanging stories from the 291 trade while he worked his magic in the barbershop after his retirement from the military. I remember Pete as such a great guy. We were in Alert together many many years ago. He was my supervisor and had to put up with my shenanigans over our time there together. He was very patient and had a great sense of humour. His experience at work really gave me something to drive towards. My deepest condolences to your family and friends far and wide. He will be truly missed.

To Jane, Tracy and Tyler and family, we are very sorry to hear of your loss.
As you know, Brock knew Peter as they were in the same trade. Our paths crossed in Inuvik, Kingston and Masset B.C. Peter was good company and a good friend to many I am sure.
In B.C. He gave us fresh caught salmon and shared some meals with us as well as Tyler and Tracy. That has always been a good memory for us.
We know he will be missed.
Our sincere condolences to you all, Brock and Mary Cooper

My thoughts and prayers go out to Aunt Jane and all the family as we morn the loss of my Uncle Peter. I remember as a kid growing up, Uncle Pete building his new house and all the work that went into those stone walls, and being excited to get my hair cut and all the funny stories he would tell.
