We would like to pass on our sympathy to all of the family. When you think of Randy you think of sports and that brings the good memories of playing ball, games, hockey, etc. In the north end of Gore Bay with the Thibault family when we were growing up. We were very sad to hear of his death and know all will miss him greatly.316

Randy was an amazing man - seemingly unlimited energy for his family, friends and all the sports and coaching. I was very lucky to be able to tag along with him and Katharine and was even entrusted to get his goalie skates from Sudbury back home in time for a tournament. They were my best friends and while it’s hard to believe that they have left us, I know they are dancing together again. Much love to Jason, Richard, Kara, Mitchell and their families.

My sincere condolences to Randy's family. Randy worked in the traffic department when I started at Manitoulin Transport, he was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who asked, a true gentleman. He has been missed since he retired, only wish he would have had many more years to enjoy his retirement.

I was so sad to hear about Randy's passing. I had the great privilege to work with Randy for many years at Manitoulin, as well as playing ball in the summer on his teams in Gore Bay for countless seasons. He always had a great attitude, and you couldn't help but to walk away with a smile on your face after talking with him. Sadly, people with the kind of dedication to his community and sports in general that Randy showed during his entire life, are very rare. He will be missed.
