Obituary of Jim Noland

JAMES LORNE NOLAND – In loving memory of James Lorne Noland, 75, who passed away at St. Joseph’s CCC, September 28, 2019, with family at his side.  Cherished son of Manciel and Lenna Noland (both predeceased), survived by his loving wife Donna, daughters Carol, Anita (Doug) Dow and Kathy (Brian) Eadie.  Special Papa of Atina-Marie (Joel), Charlie (Avery), Taylor (Steve),  Alex (Aliisa),  Maggie (Evan) and great-grandson Hudson.  Sisters Helen (predeceased), Merle (Jim) Thirkill, Ruth (Dave) Hough, and Marilyn (Ernie) Paskaruk.  He will be missed by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and in-laws Lloyd and Doris Jeffkins (both predeceased), and brother-in-law Dennis (Ethel) Jeffkins and sister-in-law Jackie (Jim) Stack. Jim worked at INCO for 34 years before retiring in 1999. He will be remembered for the love of being an avid hunter and fisherman, and he was happiest watching his grandson Charlie play hockey and football, his granddaughter play flag football and spending time with all the family.  In keeping with Jim’s wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral.  A private family burial service will be held at the Burpee Mills Cemetery on Friday, October 11, 2019 at 12:30 pm.  A Celebration of Life for all those who would like to attend at the Burpee Mills Township Hall on Friday, October 11, 2019 from 2 pm to 4 pm.  A special thank you to the doctors and 2nd floor nurses at the St.Joseph’s CCC. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the St. Joseph’s CCC would be greatly appreciated and may be made through www.simpsonfuneralhome.ca
