Peggy Davis

Obituary of Peggy Davis

Patricia Ann (Peggy) Davis passed away peacefully March 3, 2020 at the age of 65. Dearly missed by daughters Shauna (Vern), Adrienne (Kevin), Nikki (Todd), and son Nathan (Jaimie).  Loving daughter to Pauline Van Every. Devoted sister to Bonnie Patterson (Dave), and Rob Breathat (Judy). Grandma Peggy to Nick, Dakota, Brady, Sienna, Mikayla, Kyli, Brody, Abigail, Lily, Jacob, and Hadley. Beloved Auntie Peggy to many. Predeceased by husband Jimmy Davis, father Gerald Breathat, step-father Bill Van Every and brother Art Breathat. Peggy considered Manitoulin Island her home. Her door was always open and her house was a safe haven to all family and friends that would stop by. She enjoyed her time in the kitchen and found comfort in providing home cooked meals for loved ones. Outside of the kitchen, her creativity came to life through painting and always had some ‘wonderfully quirky’ project on the go. Her youthful spirit and endless imagination were a source of joy and laughter to all that surrounded her young and old. Peggy was gifted with the ability to remain positive despite all of the challenges she faced throughout her lifetime. Together we will remember her and know that she is now free of pain and celebrating with us.  Family will gather this Saturday March 7th from 4:30pm-8pm at the Providence Bay Community Centre. Peggy loved to see people get together for fun and laughter while enjoying some delicious food. We will remember her on this day by all gathering and welcome people to bring food that can be shared by all. Cremation has taken place. Memorial donations may be made to the Ontario Brain Injury Association as expressions of sympathy and may be made through www.simpsonfuneralhome.ca
