Obituary of JOSEF-BERNHARD BERWERT

In Loving Memory JOSEF-BERNHARD BERWERT March 29, 1947 - September 6, 2013 Joseph Bernhard Berwert, a resident of Spring Bay, died at the Manitoulin Health Centre, Mindemoya on Friday, September 6, 2013 at the age of 66 years. He was born in Switzerland. Josef had lived in Sturgeon Falls for many years before moving to Manitoulin. He had worked as an antique dealer for 26 years. He loved to laugh and joke with people. A very friendly and personable man, Josef would speak to and was interested in all he met. His favourite and most memorable times were travelling in the motor home with Ruby, where they had travelled to many places over the last few years. Josef is survived by his loving and loved wife Ruby. Also survived by son Rene in Switzerland, sister Bertha also in Switzerland and step children Elizabeth, Rita, Peter, Andy and Timmy. A number of other relatives also survive in Switzerland.. In keeping with Josefs' wishes, cremation has taken place. If so desired, donations to the Mindemoya Hospital Auxiliary would be appreciated.
