In Loving Memory LOIS MARY LYDIA COOPER September 12, 1931 - September 27, 2013 It is with great sadness the Cooper family announces the passing of Lois Mary Lydia Cooper. Beloved wife of the late Roy Cooper. Daughter of the late Harvey Haner and of the late Mary (nee McDermid). Beloved mother of Karen (Ian) MacKenzie of Burlington, Grant (Joanne) Cooper of Sudbury. Predeceased by son John and daughter Connie. Cherished grandmother of Lisa, Scott, Samantha and Tyler. Predeceased by her brothers Harvey Haner, Frank Haner, Grant Cranston and sister Wilda Clark. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lois was a member of the St. Francis of Assisi Anglican Church and a former member of the Anglican Church Women, the Horticultural Society, the Senior's Drama Club and the Eastern Star # 306. Friends may call at the St. Francis of Assisi Church in Mindemoya on Friday, October 4th from 6 - 9 p.m. and on Saturday, October 5th from 10 - 11 a.m. The funeral service to celebrate Lois' life will be held on Saturday at 11 a.m. in the St. Francis of Assisi Church. The Reverend Canon Bain Peever officiating. If so desired, donations to the St. Francis of Assisi Church or the Manitoulin Health Centre (Mindemoya Site) would be greatly appreciated. Interment in Mindemoya Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a reception to be held in the church hall following the committal service.
