Obituary of JOHN BLAISE McLEOD

In Loving Memory JOHN BLAISE McLEOD February 3, 1954 - December 15, 2013 John McLeod, a resident of Shehshegwaning, passed away at his residence on Sunday, December 15, 2013 at the age of 59 years. He was born in Sagamok, son of the late Angus and Annie (Namowin) McLeod. He had worked at INCO for 30 years retiring about 10 years ago. After his retirement, John still worked though, as Marie's "gopher". He enjoyed hunting and fishing, playing pool and watching hockey, in particular the Maple Leafs (even when they lost). John's greatest love was spending time with family. Many good memories will be cherished. John is survived by his beloved wife Marie (Cada) McLeod. Loving and loved father of Angela of Sudbury and Mike (Jennifer) also of Sudbury. Proud grandfather of Gwenyth and Aaron. Dear brother of Barbara Southwind and Jean McLeod of Sagamok, and Audrey King of Sault Ste. Marie. Predeceased by many other siblings. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation for John will be held at the Sheshegwaning Community Complex on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 1-3 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate John's life will be conducted at 3 p.m. with Rev.
